Secluded, well maintained and well appointed
One of , if not the nicest places we have stayed in Greece in the last 20 years. Well maintained rooms with good facilities including the best shower we have had on a Greek island. Fabulous views and a lovely owner who really cares about her guests.

Wonderful family holiday
We had the most wonderful family holiday at Karavotsakisma. The villa was beautiful in its location and design and it was well stocked with essential kitchen items which made home cooking enjoyable and easy. The pool and surrounding areas were immaculately clean and very inviting. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to Gail and William. Great hosts. Ed and family.

Magnifique séjour
L’endroit est très apaisant , très calme. La vue est magnifique , le tout dans un jardin très bien entretenu. Très bonne organisation du studio, le ménage est fait tous les jours. La piscine était quasi privative,nous étions les seuls à en profiter. Merci Gail pour l’accueil.

Beautiful place!
We had an amazing 8 days here! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so we’ll maintained. The house was absolutely amazing! Really well equipped and the view from the terrace was just beautiful. Gail was a perfect host. She was very quick to respond and very helpful. She actually moved our booking to a larger property which was greatly appreciated as we have two young kids. We would thoroughly recommend this place. We would gladly book this property again if we are able to. Thanks Gail

Skiathos with a view and tranquility
After 14 Visits to Skiathos from 4 Star hotels to personal villas, we have finally found our second home with Gail. Amazing location with multiple aspects each with its own view. Gail and Son, Will, made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Attention to detail throughout the property shows a labour of love. Has to be experienced to understand!

Un hâvre de paix
Nous avons vraiment apprécié l’emplacement de l’hébergement ,sans voisin ,au calme et avec une très belle vue sur la mer. Également tres appréciable la propreté du lieu et toutes les attentions de notre hôte qui ont rendu ce sejour très agréable.

Posizione fantastica, tranquillità e natura
La posizione fantastica e la vista che si ha vale senza alcun dubbio la strada ripida sterrata che porta alla struttura che è molto bene organizzata ed accogliente (Gail e i suoi ragazzi sono sempre a disposizione). Se cerchi tranquillità e natura è il posto ideale e in pochi minuti raggiungi alcune delle spiagge più belle di Skiathos.

Un angolo di paradiso
Ci siamo trovati benissimo la vista era incantevole e la Camera anche se un Po piccola aveva un angolo cottura attrezzatissimo e ben organizzato. Ci ri ricevevano la Camera tutti i giorni. È a giorni alterni cambio asciugamani. Tutto perfetto Elena una vera signora ci ha anche offerto una bella cena a buffet vicino alla piscina. Unico neo la strada sterrata e ripida quindi indispensabile un’auto affidabile. Lo consiglio.

Wonderful island with accomodation like paradise
We had a very nice stay. The apartments are situated in a beautiful garden that invites you to relax. Everything is very tastefully furnished, with attention to detail. Gail is very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful stay. You can only recommend it. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Das Paradies gefunden
Wir haben schon viele Appartements gebucht. Aber noch nie waren wir so überwältigt. Die Lage erfordert (für uns) einen Mietwagen, aber es fühlt sich an, als komme man ins Paradies. Alle Wohneinheiten sind etwas von einander getrennt, so dass Privatsphäre immer vorhanden ist. Die Anlage hat viele, einfach wunderbare Details, hier plätschert Wasser, dort wachsen Orangen… bis hin zu dem malerischen Poolbereich. Unser Studio war mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt, sogar Gewürze waren vorhanden. Gail und William kümmern sich um jegliche Wünsche und sind traumhafte Gastgeber. Man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und wir waren sehr traurig als wir abgereist sind, werden aber sicher wiederkommen! Danke Gail für die wundervollen Wochen😍�

What a beautiful restful place to stay!
We had a wonderful week in Gail’s two bedroom apartment. It was simply furnished and felt lovely and cosy. The gardens were lovely, the pool was perfect and our children loved playing pool and ping pong. The location was absolutely stunning – I couldn’t get enough of the views! A car was definitely needed though as I wouldn’t fancy a walk up the hill!

Top, super Lage, freundliche Gastgeber
Skiathos ist ziemlich belebt, deshalb ist dieses Appartment eine Oase der Ruhe mit Traumblick auf das Meer. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aufmerksamer Service, Nähe zu schönen Stränden, was will man mehr? Jederzeit wieder!

Everything was perfect
Fantastic….the studio was lovely with a very private terrace and I was shown around all of the others and each was finished to a high standard and each had a private terrace and there is a communal garden and a great swimming pool. The views are exceptional. Gail, the owner, is charming and very knowledgeable about the island. She tells me that many of her clients are repeat visitors and it is easy to see why. The property is at the top of a hill on the western side of the island…the views are great and there are loads of beaches within walking distance, although the drive is very steep and in the heat it is preferable to drive.

Beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location.
The house and pool were beautiful and kept immaculately clean by Gail and her staff who were always on hand and very helpful. Really peaceful with amazing views.

The best place to stay in Skiathos!
Absolutely wonderful. This was my 7th trip to Skiathos and the first time I’d stayed here. The accommodation was beautiful, the gardens and views stunning with a very private and peaceful atmosphere. Gail was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and she attended to everything with so much attention to detail. I will definitely stay here again as I think there is no better place to stay on this island.

Jewel of Skiathos
I almost don’t want to write this review because Gail’s beautiful hillside with the most gorgeous places to stay on Skiathos are clearly a well kept secret amongst her loyal guests who all seem to become friends and come back year after year. We found it by chance and stayed for the first time at Lephteris house and it was the perfect holiday. The owner Gail and her son William live in a house above and the family created, landscaped and built the most magical places, all hidden from each other, in amongst citrus trees, olive groves, and all with the most exquisite view of the peninsular. The pool is in a walled garden which looks over the sea, Lephteris house itself has it’s own lovely garden right next door with a beautiful terrace and a secret door to the pool. We had the place to ourselves as we went off season but it’s easy to imagine the fun guests have in the summer too when Gail hosts bbq’s around the pool. . The attention to detail everywhere is perfect as you would expect from an artist, the beds comfortable, everything was lovely and the location is the best on the island being near to the most beautiful beaches. You need a car but the island is so beautiful you would want to explore it anyway. Being half Greek myself I have travelled extensively in Greece and this is somewhere I would love to be able to come back to again and again. This has been our 13th year staying at Karavotsakisma, and we love it. The tranquillity and amazing views are to die for and the peacefulness is beyond reproach! Each year is like home from home. Gail, her children and staff are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We love it and love them. Once you stay here you will not want to stay anywhere else.

Review of Karavotsakisma
We had the most wonderful, idyllic stay at Karavotsakisma. Gail’s house is just stunning, set in the most beautiful grounds with lemon trees and flowers everywhere. Our studio was perfect- stunning taste, fully equipped kitchen, the best view I’ve ever had from the terrace of the sea and surrounding hills. The pool area and the peace and tranquility make this a ‘must- go’ summer destination- the island is really perfect too with amazing beaches. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and we will definitely be returning at some point.
