Karavotsakisma studio & villa accommodation are located on a green and peaceful hillside above Koukounaries, Skiathos. Karavotsakisma House, Lephteris House & Korakoneri Villa. Peace and privacy, lush mature gardens, a swimming pool, magnificent sea views, glorious sunsets, a high standard of comfort and service; all contribute to making Karavotsakisma one of the most enchanting settings on Skiathos. This secluded retreat is only about five minutes drive from excellent sandy beaches (Elias, Koukounaries, Banana, Ag. Eleni, Agistro Mandraki, Kriffi, Maratha) and the facilities of tavernas, bars, supermarkets, and water-sports.

About the Owner

I was born & grew up in Tynemouth ; then went to Manchester and studied art.
In 1970, I first visited Skiathos where I met my late husband Christos. In our early years together we lived in a hut on the famous Koukounaries Beach; with no fresh water or electricity; everyday life was hard work but stunningly beautiful and of course, it was lots of fun. For 25 years we operated a water sports business from here; in the meanwhile we built our dream home and holiday accommodations on the hilltop above the beach. Here, at Karavotsakisma, with a magnificent view over the sea to Pelion is where I live with my son, William. My daughter Elena holidays here.
In recent years I’ve returned to painting. Limited Edition Prints and greetings cards of my Skiathos work are available in select local shops.
